Brownie Heaven!

Brownie Heaven!

Time to pour a cup of Cysterhood Tea, put your feet up and immerse yourself in prebiotic brownie deliciousness! This brownie is a healthy version (<7g sugar per serve!) that is packed full of polyphenols + other antioxidants and so much gut growing goodness.

Ingredients

125g 85% dark chocolate

50g Nuttelex (or coconut oil but remember that coconut oil will deliver a LOT more saturated fat which your gut bugs so not like).

3/4 C almond meal

1/4 C Fertile Gut

1/4 C cocoa powder

1/4 C maple syrup

3 eggs

Method

Set oven to 170 degrees C / 340 F.

Melt Nuttelex and chocolate together in a bowl over simmering water in a saucepan on the stove.

In a separate bowl whisk eggs and maple syrup. Drizzle in melted chocolate + Nuttelex mix.

Gently fold in almond meal, cocoa (sifted) and Fertile Gut until there are no lumps. Pour mix into a square oven dish and sprinkle with some more choc bits if you like.

Place in the oven at 170 degrees C / 340 F for 15-17 min. Pull this out of the oven while it is still a bit gooey for the ultimate finish!
