Prebiotic Date Loaf

Date Loaf

Super simple prebiotic date load that you can have in the oven in under 10 min!

Ingredients

4 GF Weetbix

2 tbsp maple syrup

1 tbsp nuttlex

1 cup dates, chopped

1 tsp. bicarbonate soda

1 cup boiling water

3/4 cup GF wholemeal self-raising flour

1/4 cup Fertile Gut

2 eggs

Method

Mix together GF Weetbix, maple syrup, nuttlex, dates, bicarbonate of soda and boiling water in a large bowl and let sit for 5 min.

Add in flour, Fertile Gut and eggs. Mix and then place into a loaf pan. Bake at 165 degrees C for 30 to 40 min.

Serve with granola and yoghurt for a super yummy breakfast or settle in with a cup of tea and slice of date loaf goodness for an afternoon delight!
