Gut + Protein Banana Pancakes

No flour. No bloat. Just fluffy banana pancakes that taste WAY too good to be this simple.

Ingredients

40 g Gut + Protein vanilla protein powder

1 large very ripe banana

1/8 tsp. cinnamon

1/4 tsp. baking powder

1/4 tsp. salt 2 large eggs

Topping

Fresh Fruit

1 Tbsp maple Syrup

Method

  1. In two clean bowls, separate the eggs carefully so none of the yolk gets into the egg whites.
  2. Beat egg whites until they form soft peaks.
  3. In another bowl mix all other ingredients well and then fold in half the egg whites gently. Gently add the remaining egg whites.
  4. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Cook pancakes for 2-3 minutes per side until golden.
  5. To serve: Top with yoghurt, berries and a drizzle of maple syrup.
